Each year, the week leading up to my birthday celebration feels a lot like the week leading up to Spring Break. I'm antsy, I'm excited, I'm distracted, and I'm trying to pare down my M&M intake.
This year, I'll be spending my birthday weekend (actual birthday February 8) in Las Vegas with thirteen of my closest friends flying in from six states. Reservations are made, bottle service is scheduled and the I-may-dress-slutty-but-I'm-really-a-relatively-good-girl wardrobe is purchased. The weekend will be amazing, but after the smell of Patron and cigars leaves my little black dress, I'll be back home...and another year closer to the big 3-0.
So to avoid glossing over what will be a year of great experiences and an abundance of knowledge from those who reached the milestone ahead of me, I'm going to dedicate some time as frequently as possible to jotting down any wisdom and observations I pick up along the way.
